The Egyptian startup scene is ready for Germany. Come be part of what happens next.
On July 2nd, Berlin opens its doors to a group of ambitious Egyptian founders — and we're inviting everyone to pull up a chair.
Whether you're an Egyptian startup ready to explore the German market, a Berlin founder who wants to meet new faces, a mentor with knowledge worth sharing, or simply someone who believes good things happen when communities connect — this day was built with you in mind.
What is the EME Accelerator Networking Event?
The EME Accelerator Networking Event is a free, one-day gathering in Berlin where Egyptian startups and the wider startup community come together to learn, connect, and co-create.
It's part of the EME Accelerator — a programme powered by GIZ and TUM International — and hosted by Startup Migrants, an organisation that has been helping migrant founders build successful companies across Europe since 2018.
This is not a closed-door industry event. It's a collaborative space — designed to be as useful for the Berlin ecosystem showing up to connect as it is for the Egyptian founders walking in for the first time.
What's happening on the day?
Presentation on breaking into the German startup market.
Practical guide to registering your company.
Pitches from Egyptian founders.
Real stories from people who've done it.
And plenty of time to meet the people in the room who can actually help you move forward.
Who is this day for?
This day is for you if you're an Egyptian founder with a startup ready to explore Germany — or if you're already building here and want better connections and clarity.
It's for you if you're part of the Egyptian diaspora and want to give back to founders coming up behind you.
It's for you if you're a Berlin-based founder, investor, mentor, or ecosystem builder who wants to meet and support international talent coming into the market.
‘‘And it's for you if you simply believe that the best startup communities are the ones that stay open — and want to be in a room where that's actually true.’’
From Cairo to Berlin, Egyptian entrepreneurs are bringing ideas, energy, and global ambition into the German market.
But the best outcomes don't happen in isolation. They happen when local knowledge meets international drive. When the ecosystem opens up instead of closing in. When someone in the room makes one introduction that changes everything.
That's what we're building on July 2nd — a day where both sides of that equation show up, and something real gets started.
